Tayler earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Southern Virginia University and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Utah Tech University. She is trained in domestic violence, psychological first aid, CBT, TF-CBT, and other trauma-informed interventions.
Before joining the Zest for Life team, Tayler worked in a variety of positions within the mental health field, such as direct care staff at residential treatment centers and a registered behavior technician at an applied behavioral analysis (ABA) office.
Tayler believes the first step towards healing is being truly heard in a safe, empathic space that facilitates internal exploration, growth, and healing. Through a variety of therapeutic interventions, Tayler utilizes a collaborative and strength-based approach, employing experiential methods such as art, music, and play, to help you uncover who you are and discover who you want to be.
Outside of therapy, Tayler enjoys running after her rambunctious puppy, Zeppelin, and forced cuddle sessions when watching a good show or movie. She also loves engaging in creative outlets, such as writing, reading, and music.
