Rylie received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Family Life and Human Development with a minor in Psychology from Southern Utah University. She also earned a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Oklahoma State University.
Rylie's approach to therapy is rooted in a systemic lens, allowing her to work effectively with a diverse clientele. Her areas of expertise include trauma, anxiety, and depression. Trained in Integrative Systemic Therapy, Rylie tailors treatment plans to each client's unique needs. She draws from a rich toolkit of methodologies including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Gottman
Method, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Four Blinks Version of Flash Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).
Rylie found her passion for working with couples and families while attending Southern Utah University (SUU). There, she was the president of the Family Life and Human Development Club, which hosted many family and service focused activities for the students and local community. Rylie also worked as a Peer Success Advisor at SUU, which allowed her to work one on one with individuals struggling in academia and further confirmed her passion for helping others and the need for mental health support in the world. During her time at Oklahoma State University, Rylie was able to provide therapy to many individuals, couples and families. She completed an internship at a local trauma focused clinic and was able to learn many valuable skills through this experience. Rylie was born and raised in Utah and loves the wide range of scenery and culture this beautiful state offers. She enjoys spending her time with friends and family, her dog, and furthering her education and knowledge.
