Payson Office Manager, Therapist Clinical Focus: Adolescents, Couples, Co-parenting, Discernment, LGTBQ+ Phone: (801) 980-2566 Ext. 304 - Email: Madisen@ZestCounseling.com Madisen is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and the manager of our Payson office. She has a deep passion for loving and helping others access the resources necessary to create a meaningful and happy life through personal and relationship satisfaction. Madisen completed a bachelor’s degree in Marriage and Family Studies at Brigham Young University-Idaho and a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Oklahoma State University. |
Madisen has completed training and is certification to provide relationship, parenting, and co-parenting education. Madisen continues to learn and share what she learns through community workshops and therapy groups.
As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, Madisen uses evidence-based treatment in her work with individuals, couples, and families no matter their struggles or goals. She has particular interest in working with marital distress as well as sexuality development, and has a special capacity to hold space for individuals who are navigating the intersection of faith and sexuality.
Within the therapy room Madisen appreciates a collaborative approach based on her belief that you know yourself better than anyone, that sometimes you may just need a little guidance in reconnecting with different parts of yourself and discovering a new way to articulate. It is her hope that you will always feel understood, especially in times when she may challenge you. Life is difficult enough to navigate, she believes that we have no need to navigate it alone.
Madisen finds joy in her own life through sharing new experiences and trying new things. In her spare time she enjoys connecting; with her partner and puppies through date nights, with the community through concerts and other community and seasonal events, with family and friends through game nights in and sharing a home cooked meal, and with herself through spending time in the mountains.
