Kate earned her Bachelor of Social Work degree from Utah State University, with a minor in human development and family sciences. She is currently pursuing a Master of Social Work degree at Weber State University. She has certifications in Domestic Violence, Skills for Psychological Recovery, Psychological First Aid, Substance Abuse, Trauma-focused CBT,
Individual Clinical Trauma Specialization, and mandated reporting.
This past school year, Kate worked at an elementary school in Logan, Utah, as a school counselor intern. Kate worked with many different kids providing services for anxiety, interpersonal problems, DCFS reporting, food shortages within the family, abuse and neglect, and other diagnoses.
When Kate isn't at the office, she loves to be outside hiking, biking, paddle boarding, or kayaking with her husband and puppy (with an afternoon stop at Chick-Fil-A, of course!)
