Jenn is currently pursuing a Master of Social Work degree at the University of Utah. Previously, Jenn earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History. A series of life events then prompted a pivot to social work. Jenn’s previous clinical experience includes providing mental health services and crisis intervention at Fourth Street Clinic, which offered an opportunity to work with patients with complex mental health issues and substance use.
Jenn has been trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma informed interventions. She has certifications in domestic violence, psychological first aid (PFA), drug addiction (SBIRT), skills for psychological recovery (SPR), trauma-focused treatment (TF-CBT, CCTS-I) and others.
Jenn has a deep level of compassion and empathy and is a believer that we can heal and live beautiful, meaningful lives. When she is not in clinic or studying, she loves skiing, road biking, hiking, cooking, and spending time with her super cool adult children and her dog, Hazel.
