She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Brigham Young University, and completed her Master's Degree in Social Work at the University of Utah. She She additionally holds Social Service Worker (SSW) license.

Jaclyn has been trained in domestic violence, psychological first aid, CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed interventions, including TF-CBT. She has worked in social services for several years, primarily with families and individuals experiencing trauma, helping them to improve familial relationships and strengthen healthy attachment. She has experience with families that have been affected by substance use, domestic violence, and mental illness. She has recent involvement in a hospital setting working with women at risk for developing postpartum depression.
Jaclyn chose to become a therapist because she wants to empower individuals to find resilience and hope during their darkest times and watch them reclaim peace and control in their lives. Jaclyn is a compassionate listener who believes everyone has incredible and unique things to offer the world. She prioritizes creating a safe and validating, yet challenging, relationship with her clients, based on her belief that the relationship between therapist and client is key to effective therapy.
When Jaclyn isn’t in the therapy office, she is enjoying time with her husband and daughter, planning her next vacation, jamming out to Taylor Swift, or trying to convince her family to do another karaoke night.
