Administratively, he is the Payson office manager and oversees group therapy at all Zest office locations. He completed a Bachelor’s of Family Studies at Brigham Young University, a Master’s of Marriage and Family Therapy at Oklahoma State University, and a doctorate in Couples, Marriage, and Family Therapy with Texas Tech University. |
Dr. Jones clinical specializations include treating individuals and couples with parent child relationships and helping people navigate mental health crises. He is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) and is a Certified Family Life Educator. He has extensive experience treating trauma, anxiety, and depression.
Dr. Jones is passionate about education, teaching, and mentoring others to reach their full potential.
Prior to joining the Zest for Life Counseling team, Dr. Jones worked as a Medical Family Therapist for the Chickasaw Nation where he specialized in crisis response in Acute Care and ICU. He also worked in Pediatrics assessing early development delays and supporting parents in their efforts to create a more engaged family. He is always looking for opportunities to serve minority and underserved populations.
Dr. Jones has been married to his best friend for seven years and adores his three little girls. Together they enjoy playing games, sports and getting outside.
