She has worked at Zest for Life as a patient care coordinator and in various other roles and is now a part of our clinical team. Clinically, Avery provides mental health services in our Holladay office. |
Avery completed a bachelor's degree in Social Work at Utah Valley University. She is currently working on a Master of Social Work degree at Arkansas State University.
During her student career, Avery taught psychoeducational groups to adolescents and adults in the community focusing on healthy skills and behaviors. She is trained in domestic violence, psychological first aid, CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed interventions, including TF-CBT.
Avery previously worked at Aspen Grove Behavioral Hospital monitoring patient progress and assisting therapists in delivering services. She has experience in youth leadership and mentoring in community and international settings, in addition to her background as a medical assistant in the healthcare field.
Avery has experience working with adolescents and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, and navigating difficult life changes. Passionate about mental health, Avery is a dedicated advocate for those seeking to improve their overall well-being. She strives to be a supportive guide through challenging circumstances, helping you regain your zest for life!
When Avery is not in the office she enjoys spending time with her husband, trying out new
recipes, reading a good book, or enjoying the beauty of nature.
