Clinically, Kylie provides mental health services in our American Fork office, and also provides clinical supervision for graduate intern therapists.
Kylie completed a Bachelors Degree in Behavioral Science with an emphasis in Family Studies and a Masters in Social Work with Utah Valley University. She is currently completing a doctor of social work degree with an emphasis in advanced clinical practice with the University of Kentucky.
During her student career, she worked with families in the community teaching psychoeducational classes to children and parents that focused on improving family communication and relationships while also providing out-patient mental health services. Such experiences have cultivated her passion to remain in the private practice setting and continue her focus of helping both the individual and family.
Kylie has spent majority of her professional career working with children, adolescents, and adults who struggle with emotional regulation, anxiety, depression, self-harm, sexuality, postnatal mood disorders and insecure attachment within the family unit. She strives to create a safe and uplifting therapeutic environment through utilizing a strength-based, positive, and affirming approach. Kylie is trained in using skills associated with EMDR, Brainspotting, CBT,Trauma-Focused CBT, DBT, SFBT, and client-centered Play Therapy. She enjoys working with both individuals and families as they work towards building a more healthy, resilient life.
Kylie is a Utah native and enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and fur-child outdoors which usually entails playing sports, hiking, or training for the next Ragnar or Spartan Race.
